She came, she spoke, and she won hearts at the CNN-News18’s Indian Of The Year (IOTY) Awards 2025. Winning the Gen Z Icons of the Year Award along with her Saiyaara co-star Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda graced the stage looking effortlessly chic in a contemporary silhouette.

High on emotions and sporting her million-dollar smile, Aneet Padda spoke from the heart on the IOTY 2025 stage. Complementing her special moment was the chic Lime Store ensemble she picked.

Aneet Padda is keeping it comfortably chic

Aneet Padda’s style quotient has been a blend of casual, modern silhouettes that mirror Gen Z fashion to the T. Keeping young, fresh and effortlessly glamorous, Aneet Padda opted for a Lime Store ensemble. The winning look featured a draped corset-style satin top and belted satin midi skirt.

Realised in dusty lilac, the pastel hue added softness to Aneet’s stylish look. The fitted satin top gathers at the side giving it a draped look. The off-shoulder straps came with elasticised detailing. She paired the top with a satin midi skirt with a belt below the hips.

Aneet’s understated minimal glam and her signature hairstyle celebrated the brightest star in the room with elan. Aneet completed her special day with a sparkling diamond necklace featuring an array of coloured stones.

Aneet Padda’s Speech Won Hearts

Aneet Padda, who truly believes “Magic will always find those who seek it”, thanked her loved ones and the people who had her back, including her co-star and best friend, Ahaan Panday.

Acknowledging the moment, Aneet says, “I truly understand it is such a privilege to be sharing this space with such wonderful people who have accomplished all that they have and to be a part of this along with them, there is no greater honour.”

In true superstar style, Aneet went on to thank her parents, friends, family, CNN-News18, Aditya Chopra, Mohit Suri and Shanoo Sharma, among others. Aneet also went on to praise Ahaan Panday for having him next to her and addressed him as “one of the best men in the world”.

Post the winning speech, Aneet Padda and Ahan Panday recreated one of the iconic scenes from the movie, Saiyaara, which was followed by thunderous applause from the audience.
