Aaj Ka Panchang, 23 May, 2024: Kurma Jayanti, Buddha Purnima, Vaikasi Visakam, Vaishakha Purnima Vrat, Vaishakha Purnima and Anvadhan will be observed today on Thursday.

AAJ KA PANCHANG, MAY 23, 2024: The Purnima Tithi as well as the Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha are anticipated to take place on Thursday, May 23, as per the Drik Panchang. Both Shukla Purnima and Shukla Pratipada are considered auspicious for beginning significant activities and are included in the list of shubh muhurat times. On this day, a total of six festivals will be observed across the country – Kurma Jayanti, Buddha Purnima, Vaikasi Visakam, Vaishakha Purnima Vrat, Vaishakha Purnima and Anvadhan.

When planning any event or activity, it is vital to consider both auspicious and unfavourable periods, as well as the tithi.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON MAY 23

The sun is likely to rise at 5:26 AM and sunset around 7:10 PM. The moon is expected to rise at 7:12 PM but currently, there is no moonset timing.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR MAY 23

The Purnima Tithi is expected to last until 7:22 PM, after which the Pratipada Tithi will commence. Throughout this period, the auspicious Vishakha Nakshatra is anticipated to prevail until 9:15 AM, following which the propitious Anuradha Nakshatra will start. Furthermore, the Nishita Muhurta is projected between 11:57 PM and 12:38 AM on May 24, while the Pratah Sandhya Muhurta is anticipated to occur from 4:25 AM to 5:26 AM. Sayahna Sandhya Muhurta is likely to take place from 7:10 PM to 8:11 PM.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR MAY 23

The Gulikai Kalam Muhurta is anticipated to occur from 8:52 AM to 10:35 AM, followed by the Rahu Kalam Muhurta from 2:01 PM to 3:44 PM, and the Yamaganda Muhurta from 5:26 AM to 7:09 AM. The Dur Muhurtam is set to take place in two phases – morning and afternoon. First from 10:01 AM to 10:56 AM and another from 3:30 PM to 4:25 PM. The Aadal Yoga is projected to fall between 5:26 AM and 9:15 AM. Additionally, the Banna Muhurta is expected to occur in Roga up to 2:29 AM (May 24).
