Security forces on Tuesday killed a terrorist during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district, the military said.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location as a result of which terrorist Mohammad Sohail was killed.
It added that the killed terrorist had remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as innocent civilians in the area.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area.
Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
