Whitney Carson is expecting her third baby.
In an interview with People Magazine, the DWTS pro shared that she is excited about the new addition to their family.
“My family is growing. We’re so blessed to keep growing our family,” Whitney said. Adding, “I can’t wait to become a family of five.”
The mom of two revealed that in her first three months of pregnancy, she felt “very nauseous.”
Speaking to the outlet, Whitney described how she is coping with the nausea and praised her husband, Carson McAllister, who has been a big source of support during her pregnancy, saying, “I am just in pure survival mode right now.”
Noting, “I am constantly trying to eat to keep the nausea at bay. I’m trying to rest as much as I can. I think with two toddlers, it’s very difficult to rest, but my husband has been an absolute champ and he has allowed me to rest, and he’s very much taking care of all of us.”
Adding to the big news, the expectant mom revealed that she is planning to return to the Dancing with the Stars’ upcoming season, “So my plan is to, as long as the baby is healthy and as long as I’m doing well, then we will compete again on this season on Dancing with the Stars, which is very exciting because I love being a mom more than anything, and I also love to dance.”
Despite the excitement, she is slightly scared too, saying, “I’ll actually be the first professional dancer to compete being this far along pregnant, which is scary but also exciting.”
“And I’m hoping that if everything goes well and the baby’s healthy, that it’ll be a really great experience.” she added.
Earlier on Good Morning America, the professional dancer explained how she wants to feel empowered by the experience, “I want to feel empowered. I want to see what my body can do. And hopefully Guillermo will be right there beside me and we can work as a team. And, you know, being a mother is the greatest blessing that I could ever ask for. So I’m very blessed.”
Now, “It was a really difficult decision. Dancing is my passion, it’s what I love to do. I’ve been on the show for 11 years now, so deciding not to was a very big decision,” she revealed to the outlet.
