Rob Lowe recently got candid and opened up about why he keeps himself busy with work.
While giving insight into his life, the 62-year-old American actor, filmmaker, and entertainment host told PEOPLE magazine that he is not considering quitting his acting career.
Lowe told the outlet that he does not enjoy being idle, “I like to work,” adding, “I like the opportunities.”
He is now looking to announce a major Netflix project for which he is “very excited about.”
“I wish I could talk about it, but it’s a very big project,” The West Wing star quipped.
“One of the things that’s so satisfying for my career is that it could be anything. Not everyone gets to do that. There are ‘lists,’ and sometimes you don’t get to be on multiple ones,” Lowe stated.
He went on to mention that he considers himself lucky to easily switch between dramas and comedies.
It is pertinent to mention that Rob Lowe, who started his career in 1983 by appearing in The Outsiders, completed four independent movies last year and his latest work includes a new advertisement campaign for Accredited Debt Relief.
