Andrew Garfield is open to playing the iconic MCU character Spider-Man again, but he has one condition.
In a new interview with The Playlist, the 42-year-old actor revealed he would do another Spidey adventure if it were “strange” and “unconventional.”
“I would need it to be very, very odd,” Andrew said. “I would need it to be very strange.”
“I would need it to be completely unconventional and almost — I wouldn’t say boring — but I would want it to be just completely unexpected, like a genre of Spider-Man that you’ve never seen before, that feels very left field,” he added.
Last year, Andrew said that he “would love to reprise the role of Spider-Man in some capacity,” but only if the role was “really weird.”
“I would want to do something very unique and offbeat and surprising,” the We Live in Time actor said during the Middle East Film and Comic Con.
It is worth noting that Andrew last played the role of Spider-Man alongside Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The new Spider-Man film starring Tom is currently showing in cinemas.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which was released in theaters on July 31, broke all box-office records during its opening weekend. According to the latest report, the film grossed over $932 million worldwide in just three days.
