Robert Irwin had drawn stunning success from DWTS, or Dancing with the Stars, a reality dance competition show.
With the whirlwind success, however, the TV star said he has to go down into what he described as a hard balancing act.
How so?
Because Irwin, who is like his famous father, Steve Hunter, is a conservationist.
But as he was roped into hosting a new spinoff, Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro, he admitted he faced a painful challenge to juggle it with his lifelong mission at Australia Zoo.
“That’s the toughest part of my life at the moment,” he told EW.
Doing both gigs as a host and zookeeper, Irwin said, “It becomes very challenging, trying to measure and balance the time between actually being at the Zoo, doing what I would consider my day job, which is animal conservationist and zookeeper.”
“So balancing that with hosting and filming and this Dancing With the Stars world has become a job unto itself.”
Yet despite the difficulty, Irwin, an ardent wildlife advocate, said he still follows his father’s legacy and mission.
Meanwhile, Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro was announced back in February, while Irwan, as host, was publicly revealed in April.
