Brad Pitt’s kids have “pretty cut and dry” thoughts about their relationship with their father and news just dropped the truth behind their decision to choose their mother over their father.

The news comes via a well placed source that just spoke to Closer.

According to their findings, the issues between their parents haven’t come to an end, even decades after the pair filed for divorce.

Moreover, Jolie even took a step back from acting in recent years and has been very vocal about how the custody arrangement factors into her woes.

But what’s actually dragging the court battle is their issue over the sale of their French estate and award-winning winery, Chateau Miraval, to a Russian billionaire.

According to the source, “this has been horribly painful for all the kids; no child wants to see their parents fight like this. That being said, there’s no question whose side they’re on.”

“The fact that, one by one, they’re dropping Brad’s last name says it all,” too the insider noted.

But that is not to say the kids “sit around trash-talking their dad” or wishing him harm, “It’s more of a sad and unspoken topic at this point that’s something they’ve learned to live with.”

But the fact of the matter is that they’re “fiercely protective of their mom” to a fault so “whenever there’s any sort of conflict, even over something relatively minor,” they typically back her.
