LeAnn Rimes has postponed two shows from her 30 Years of Blue Tour.
In order to recover from “severe illness,” the singer had to share disappointing news with her fans.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Rimes revealed, “due to severe illness, i am unable to travel & perform this week. i’m sorry to share that the upcoming shows in spokane and seattle will be rescheduled.. also, good news as we will be seeing you very soon!”
She added further, “ticket holders will be notified directly in due course. all tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates, and if you’re unable to attend, refunds will be available through your original point of purchase.”
“i am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule and i am so very grateful for your kindness, and continued support as i recover. i look forward to being back on stage and seeing you very soon,” Rimes noted.
Moreover, Rimes also shared the new dates of the shows, writing, “the new dates are: spokane may 31, seattle – june 2.”
It is pertinent to mention that LeAnn Rimes has been stuck in bed, battling her sickness. She posted a photo of herself, writing, “I don’t know exactly what I have, but it’s brutal! Haven’t left the bed.”
This comes as the songstress celebrate her career milestone with 30 Years of Blue Tour.
It marks three decades since the release of her album Blue.
Rimes released her album Blue at the age of 13, it became It was her breakthrough debut in 1996, which led her to international stardom.
The album reached to No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and has since been certified 6× Platinum by the RIAA.
