Paris Fury has been hoping for peace within the family amid ongoing tensions between her husband Tyson Fury and his father John Fury.
Speaking on the In Good Company podcast with Jamie Laing, she insisted the situation is very real despite recent comments from John suggesting his relationship with Tyson had been “completely destroyed.”
It was also being considered that the fallout might be a publicity stunt tied to the boxer’s recent comeback fight.
Nontheless, Paris has firmly shut down that idea, saying, “Tyson and his dad seem to have a rocky relationship at the moment.”
“They always go through this. You know you’ve got two very headstrong people. One probably more headstrong than the other.”
Addressing the rumors directly, she added, “Everyone’s saying it is a social media stunt and it’s not. It’s a family rift that’s going on at the moment.”
Despite the tension, Paris expressed that she remains hopeful the pair can mend their relationship.
“I hope they resolve it because I think there’s nothing more important than your family,” she said.
“I know they love each other deeply deep down and for whatever reason — whether it be pride, or whatever — they have an issue.”
