Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, to discuss the evolving regional situation.
During the discussion, both leaders exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and emphasized the need for diplomatic efforts to maintain peace and stability.
The GCC Secretary General appreciated Pakistan’s strong partnership and continued solidarity with the Gulf Cooperation Council and its member states.
Emphasis on Dialogue and Stability
Both sides highlighted the importance of de-escalation of tensions, stressing that dialogue, cooperation, and diplomatic engagement are essential for ensuring lasting peace and regional stability.
The conversation also reaffirmed Pakistan’s close ties with Gulf countries and its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote security and cooperation in the region.
