Clad in a custom Gaurav Gupta couture gown, Priyanka blended “rooted” Indian heritage with “forward-looking” tailoring. The dress featured a pleated, pallu-inspired drape that the actor creatively styled over her head, a nod to her character Ercell Bodden’s opening scene in the film.
She wrote on her Instagram: “Wearing this is an ode to Ercell Bodden, my character in The Bluff. In the opening of the film she appears with a dupatta over her head, a subtle but meaningful marker of identity and strength.
I love a saree. And when I saw this piece walk down the couture runway last month, it felt like a saree with a modern twist. We immediately called Gaurav and asked him to hold it for me.

While the dress was a masterpiece of draping, Priyanka explicitly told fans: “PS: Don’t miss my treasure chest.” True to her role as the badass pirate ‘Bloody Mary’ Bodden, she carried a literal Sunken Treasure Chest bag by the legendary Judith Leiber. This wasn’t just a purse; it was a crystal-encrusted brass heirloom featuring a heart-shaped padlock and colourful gems.
