President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held an important meeting in Islamabad to deliberate on Pakistan’s role in the upcoming ‘Board of Peace’ meeting on Gaza.
According to sources, the prime minister briefed the president on diplomatic developments surrounding the Gaza situation and sought his input regarding Pakistan’s participation in the proposed peace initiative.
Both leaders emphasized the need for a unified national stance on Gaza and reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued support for peace and stability in the region.
In addition to Gaza, the meeting also touched upon the country’s political, economic, and security situation.
Sources further revealed that the matter of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) president would be resolved through mutual consensus.
