Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s unflinching solidarity with the people of Palestine and its continued diplomatic and moral support to them.He reiterated the affirmation during his meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of Sharm al-Sheikh Peace Summit in Egypt.
The meetings discussed measures for peace in the region and satisfaction was expressed over the ceasefire in Gaza.
The meetings were held with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
