Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and discussed the recent situation in the region.According to Foreign Office spokesperson, the conversation focused on the situation in Gaza and Palestine. Foreign Office Spokesperson said the two leaders also discussed joint efforts for peace and stability of Muslim countries.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar spoke with the Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty.
The two leaders exchanged views on the ongoing situation in the Middle East, particularly the developments in Gaza and Palestine. They also discussed regional diplomatic efforts and coordination ahead of the forthcoming Summit scheduled to take place in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday.
Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar also spoke with Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and discussed humanitarian crisis in Gaza. They also exchanged views on the broader efforts by Arab-Islamic countries to promote peace and stability in the region.
