Britney Spears expressed support to Justin Bieber in an unprecendented move, as the Baby hitmaker continues to make headlines about his bizarre behaviour.
On September 9, the Toxic hit-maker has reposted one of Justin’s photos with his one-year-old son, Jack Blues Bieber, whose back was turned to the camera.
In the caption, Britney slammed her critics, writing, “Shame on those who judged my home in my pajamas!”
Gushing over Justin’s bond with his son, the singer added, “I’m in love with this picture!!! So so beautiful!!!” as she tagged @lilbieber on the IG post.
The cryptic post from Britney came following the backlash over Justin’s erratic behaviour in recent months including puffing a giant blunt at Coachella to posting disturbing social media posts.
It seemed the pop icon empathises with Justin’s condition and what he’s going through at the moment mainly because 43-year-old also went through same public scrutiny when she was very young and at the peak of her stardom.
It went to a point that she publicly shaved her head back in 2007 amid intense judgment she faced from public and media at the time.
In her memoir, The Woman in Me, Britney said, “I’d been eyeballed so much growing up. I’d been looked up and down, had people telling me what they thought of my body, since I was a teenager.”
She explained, “Shaving my head and acting out were my ways of pushing back.”
Meanwhile, some insiders noted that Justin’s apparent public meltdown might lead to his conservatorship.
It’s important to note that Britney, who endured a 13-year conservatorship before being freed by a judge in 2021, reportedly reached out the Peaches hit-maker back in June to offer support.
Sources also noted that he’s been leaning on her ever since on the pop icon, via Globe.
Lately, Britney also shocked her loved ones and fans over her disturbing living conditions.
“Her house is a mess. She doesn’t clean up after the dogs, she doesn’t have someone cleaning every day, and she just isn’t functioning like an adult would function.”
An insider told the Daily Mail that Britney was “having an episode right now” and even though she’s being “monitored”, no one is “stepping in with an intervention”.
