Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan announced on Saturday the birth of his first child, a daughter, sharing photos along with the news. Posting on Instagram and X, the 26-year-old expressed his gratitude, saying he was “grateful beyond words for this blessing” and asked fans to keep his family in their prayers.
Shadab married the daughter of former Pakistan spin legend Saqlain Mushtaq in 2023.
His announcement quickly garnered thousands of likes and congratulatory messages across social media.
Shadab, an integral part of Pakistan’s white-ball cricket setup since his debut in 2017, is considered one of the leading leg-spinners in modern cricket.
In addition to his bowling, he has proven to be a reliable lower-order batsman, making him a key all-rounder for the national team.
While he has represented Pakistan in all three formats, Shadab has achieved his greatest success in limited-overs cricket.
In addition to international cricket, Shadab also captains Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he is among the league’s top performers.
