Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Thanks Pakistani Government and People
During a session of the Iranian Parliament, the house echoed with slogans of Takbeer and expressions of gratitude toward Pakistan. In his address, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that the Pakistani people and Parliament stood firmly with Iran during challenging times. He added that Pakistan’s vocal support in its Parliament for Iran and strong condemnation of Israeli aggression strengthens the solidarity between the two nations.
In his first address to the Iranian Parliament, President Pezeshkian stated that peaceful nuclear energy is Iran’s right, and no one can take it away. “We will not allow our enemies to interfere in the rights of the Iranian people,” he said.
The president further clarified that Iran has no intention of developing nuclear weapons. “We extend a hand of friendship to all Islamic countries,” he said. He added that the enemy is deluded if it believes that martyring Iranian scientists will end the nation’s nuclear capabilities. President Pezeshkian also endorsed the decree of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, which guides Iran’s nuclear policy firmly toward peaceful objectives.
