King Charles went out of his way to speak to a group of tourists in London.
As Charles was leaving St. Peter’s Church in the Notting Hill neighbourhood of London, he reportedly visited the Disasters Emergency Committee.
While Charles was leaving the building, he mingled with two groups gathered outside.
In a fan-filmed video, Charles apologised to the group, saying, “I’m so sorry you’re being stopped from having to get on the street.”
He asked, “Are you all trying to go somewhere else today, are you?” Referencing the rainy weather, he said, “You’re not getting too wet, I hope?”
The King also asked, “Are you all living around here?” and expressed his surprise to someone saying Texas.
I don’t believe it. Are you having an enjoyable time in London?” King said.
He added, “Anyway, I do hope you make the most of it. Have a very happy Christmas,” as he walks away.
Someone in the video can be heard saying, “That was unreal! Definitely worth the wait,” while another added, “What a man, what a guy.”
