Rick Ross is sure what he will choose between $500,000 and a dinner with Jay-Z: the latter, of course.
Maintaining a long-standing friendship with Hov, the Purple Lamborghini rapstar shared his two cents on the viral offer making rounds on the internet among the Grammy winner’s fanbase.
Recalling his dinner with the megastar where his wisdom helped his career in a big way, “If you’re ready to digest the knowledge that he’s going to give you. From topic to topic, it’s priceless,” he added.
However, Jay-Z himself had a different view on the eye-catching offer.
Appearing on CBS News Gayle King to promote his new book The Book of HOV exhibition at the Brooklyn Public Library, the 53-year-old said, “You’ve gotta take the money,” he continued.
“You’ve got all that in the music for $10.99. I wouldn’t tell you to cut a bad deal. Like, take the $500,000, go buy some albums, and listen to the albums. It’s all there.”
On social media, fans largely agreed with the billionaire rapper’s take on the vogue meme.
One user commented, “He really just doesn’t want to sit across from y’all listening to your ridiculous pitches. I wouldn’t either. Take the money.”
