LAHORE – Star batsman Babar Azam tendered his resignation as One-Day International (ODI) captain on Tuesday.
In a statement on X, Babar Azam announced his decision to step down as the captain of the Pakistan team.
Babar Azam stated that he wants to focus on playing as an athlete and spend time with his family.
He expressed pride in his achievements so far and emphasised his readiness to fulfill his responsibilities as a player.
